The world’s biggest watch exposition demands the best from its stellar participants. At Watches and Wonders 2024 held in Geneva in April, over 49,000 visitors had the chance to get up close with the latest releases from illustrious watchmaking houses—and they certainly walked away impressed.
Among the most eagerly watched brands at the show, TUDOR surpassed expectations and then some. The brand demonstrated its knack for amalgamating tradition and innovation with a wide variety of timepieces, spanning updates to the coveted Black Bay and the Clair de Rose collections. Black Bay 58 18K
A collectors’ favorite since its debut in 2018, the Black Bay 58 received a notable update in 2021 with the release of the Black Bay 58 18k. This year, TUDOR introduces its most luxurious iteration yet, featuring a full 18-carat yellow gold bracelet. This bold and precious addition elevates the watch’s sportive sophistication to new heights.
The Black Bay 58 is loved for its throwback allure. Taking its name from the year 1958—a time when TUDOR first launched the reference 7924 (“Big Crown”) dive watch that was waterproof to 200 metres—the Black Bay 58 lives up to its inspiration with vintage-style homages.

Dubbed by TUDOR as the “third evolution” of the original model that was launched in 2012, this latest iteration reinforces the distinction of the entire Black Bay collection and points the way forward for the iconic timepiece with its mechanical prowess.
Collectors will no doubt be drawn to the 41mm watch’s sleek monochromatic look. Whether paired with a stainless steel three-link “rivet-style” bracelet, a five-link bracelet, or a rubber strap—all featuring TUDOR’s “T-fit” rapid adjustment clasp—this Black Bay, with its stark black dial and bezel contrasted by white “Snowflake” hands and hour markers, exude a no-nonsense tool watch sensibility.

Black Bay 58 GMT
A mainstay of the Black Bay repertoire since its introduction in 2018, the Black Bay GMT is the perfect traveller’s companion. Claire de Rose
Away from the Black Bay collection, TUDOR also presented its feminine side at Watches and Wonders 2024. The elegant Claire de Rose collection, named after the French phrase clair de lune (“moonlight”) and TUDOR’s rose logo, makes a return to the spotlight with its characteristic dressy refinement.
There have been two other iterations of the Claire de Rose over the years, spanning different case materials to dial designs. This year, the collection is refreshed with gorgeous blue dials¬¬¬—a beautiful navy hue that has become a staple of TUDOR’s ever since it appeared on a TUDOR Submariner model 1969.
Framed by the Claire de Rose case’s soft curves and paired with its exquisite and supple five-link bracelet, the blue tone exudes a decidedly glamorous feel.
